Solo: A Star Wars Story Advance Ticket Sales Beat Black Panther

A lot of people bought tickets for Solo: A Star Wars Story this past May 4th. Solo's advanced tickets sales are second only to Avengers: Infinity War, surpassing the record previously set by Black Panther earlier this year.  Solo is estimated to make $170 million over Memorial Day Weekend when it's released.

Flight of the Falcon Book Series Coming This Fall

A new series of kid's books chronicling the Millennium Falcon's journey over the different eras of Star Wars history is coming this fall. Each release will come with a map that'll allow kids to see the Falcon's flight plan from each story.

Rick Moranis Reprises Dark Helmet On The Goldbergs

Spaceballs and Rick Moranis fans rejoice! The fan favorite (and mostly retired actor) appeared in a voice cameo on the May 9th episode of The Goldbergs as Dark Helmet, his hilarious Darth Vader inspired character from the beloved Star Wars parody created by Mel Brooks.

 Jon Favreau Series Set 7 Years After Battle of Yavin

It was originally reported that Jon Favreau's series would take place 7 years after the Battle of Endor. A corrected report is now saying it's actually seven years after the Battle of Yavin, still placing it between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens, but much closer in time to Return of the Jedi and the Aftermath book series by Chuck Wendig.

Speaking with Nerdist at the world premiere of Solo: A Star Wars Story, Jon Favreau confirmed that his upcoming Star Wars series will take place 7 years after the Battle of Endor, right in between Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens. He also confirmed a brand new cast of characters and teased the technology that will be used on the series.

We can all rest easy! Despite the review embargo in affect until May 2nd, social media reactions to Solo: A Star Wars Story are flooding the internet after the world premiere on May 10th. Most reactions are describing a fun and energetic heist movie set within the Star Wars universe and, most importantly, a great performance by Alden Ehrenreich as Han Solo.
